Here is what you
do if your lights go out
- 1.
Check for blown fuses or tripped circuit breakers.
- 2.
Check with your neighbors. Ask if their electricity is off.
- 3.
During regular office hours or during a major storm, call
your coop office ( phone numbers listed below) to report
trouble. Be sure to give the name exactly as it appears on
your monthly bill or give your account number if your have
it.
- 4. If
you know of a problem that may have caused the outage, such
as a tree on the line near your house or a broken line, be
sure to give this information to the coop employee. Do not
attempt to remove trees from power lines. Do not go near
lines that are down or broken.
