Don't be fooled by scam calls!
As deplorable as it is, scam calls always increase at certain times of the year like holidays and especially during tax season. These callers pretend to be anyone from law enforcement to family members and even your power company! Please keep in mind that while we do call our members from time to time, no one from Northeast Louisiana Power Cooperative will ever ask for payment information over the phone.
If you feel that you have been the recipient of a scam call, you can report this to the FTC using the button below. Report the number that appears on your caller ID — even if you think it might be fake — and any number you’re told to call back. The FTC analyzes complaint data and trends to identify illegal callers based on calling patterns. They also use additional information you report, like any names or numbers you’re told to call back, to track down scammers.
Northeast Louisiana Power Cooperative encourages all motorists to refrain from texting while driving. This practice is especially dangerous to our line crews working along busy roadways.
